Tutorial - Cleaning Lineart by kureo95 Tutorial - Cleaning Lineart by kureo95
A quick tutorial on cleaning your scanned lineart:D This was requested by some friends after they got mad at me for being able to do something as simple as this XD I also haven't seen a tutorial for cleaning linearts so yeah~ Hope this helps!:la:

Lineart used: kureo95.deviantart.com/art/Ran…

Edit: This method doesn't work in Photoshop Elements, but you can still color under the lines if you set the line art layer to Multiply. If you open the line art and it's the Background layer, you can double click on the Background layer and click 'OK' in the dialogue box that appears to unlock it and make changes to that layer.

Hey do you happen to know how to do this in Photoshop Elements? I've looked everywhere. It all works up until the part with the channels tab, apparently elements doesn't have that feature. Any tips??

Oh, sorry, this doesn't work on Elements :( I don't know how to get the same results in Elements, but you can still color under the lines if you set the lineart layer to Multiply :D

Wow, thank you! I've tried a few other tutorials but this is the first one which was simple enough for me to follow, but effective enough to use again!
